Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actress from America. Sheedy first made an appearance as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she's performed in WarGames in 1985, The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is a performer as well as an writer. She started her career in acting with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her successful debut in a film she starred in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as being among the most memorable films of high school cinema. The film cost only $1,000,000 but it grossed over $50 million. In the meantime the actress began appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. The show premiered in April of 1980. show began to air. It was aimed at teenagers. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other television shows that the actress appeared on. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy is known for her incredible performances. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times, including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
