Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. She is the oldest child of 4 children. Her parents were dentists as well as a teacher recognized and encouraged her passion for acting and theatre at an early age, which was more important than a desire to become a primatologist thanks to her passion for monkeys. She rose to prominence as a child actor quickly and achieved enormous popularity and success. Following her studies in 1998 she participated in the French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning her acting career in earnest. Although she studied at The Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou has distanced herself from her religious upbringing and has stated that she's not Catholic. In addition to her acting career, she pursued a modeling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. A keen photographer, she created a show in the Arles International Festival titled Superficial. Her photography is focused on famous people, the media and press that scrutinised her following her rise to fame in the film Amelie. Additionally, there are numerous photographs of herself. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her debut role as Amelie Poulain in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office film that received acclaim at awards galas around all over the world. It's the largest French language film to ever be released on the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
