Selena Quintanilla Perez was an American artist. As being a Texan artist, her songs enjoyed a lot of success. Her birth date was 16th April 1971 at Lake Jackson Texas. She was born in America and although her native language is English, Selena always sings in Spanish. Selena is born of Hispanic descent and grew in a loving, happy family. The father of Selena's, Abraham Quintanilla, was also a musician, although the music he played did not get more recognition than his daughter. Selena was gifted and her family worked hard to make sure she could grow her talents.
